Fox Valley Scout Program Collaboration:

Gardens of the Fox Cities is pleased to be a partner in the Fox Valley Scout Program Collaboration, a group of field trip providers that have developed programs based on the requirements of Brownie and Junior Girl Scout badges and Cub Scout belt loops. These professionally-led programs give scouts at all levels an opportunity to earn awards in a field trip setting.

Fee for each program is $5/scout. Siblings over age 6 may attend for $5/child, but they must be registered in advance. These programs are not appropriate for children
under age 6. There are no refunds for cancellations, however substitutes are permitted.

Scouts must be accompanied by leaders and/or parent chaperones. There is never a charge for these adults. We recommend a minimum of one adult for every five scouts. Tiger Cub programs include scout plus adult partner, as outlined by the BSA. Maximum number of scouts/siblings per program is 40 (minimum required is 12).

Scouts should arrive dressed for the weather and ready to participate in fun, hands-on learning. Programs involve a combination of learn-at-your-pace stations and educator-lead activities. Programs will run regardless of the weather, with adaptations made to accommodate outdoor conditions.
