Gardens of the Fox Cities
offers hands-on outdoor educational programs promoting the progression from seed – plant - food – healthy lifestyle. We offer the following programs: Marvin's Garden: Grades K-2 and Marvin's Explorers: Grades 3-6; both programs are FULL.
**We have two NEW programs: Camp GFC for Grades K-2 and 3-6, both camps have open enrollment.
Camp GFC Scampers
July 30 - Aug. 3; 10-11:30 a.m.
Grades: K-2
Fee: $60 (Members $45)
1. Nature Observation: Tour & participate in games and challenges.
2. Habitats & Treats: Hunt for animal habitats. Prepare and provide animal food.
3. Birding: Use binoculars to identify birds.
4. Solar Pizza & Berry Painting: Make a pizza with your favorite veggies and create berry art.
5. Cooking Around the World: Prepare a worldly dish to share.
Camp GFC Scavengers
Aug. 6 - 10, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Grades 3-6
Fee: $65 (Members $50)
1. Secret Garden: Tour, identify a special spot, and make a journal.
2. Pond Pottery: Explore the pond, and make clay art.
3. Bees & Honey: Learn about beekeeping and taste fresh honey.
4. Solar Pizza & Veggie Games: Make a pizza with your favorite veggies. Play new games while it bakes.
5. Cooking Around the World: Prepare a worldly dish to share.
All participants receive a t-shirt and 10 percent discount for siblings participating in the program.
