Tulipa ‘Rhapsody in Blue’
A super dark purple tulip that looks great with bright yellow bulbs, or reds like we have here at the Gardens of the Fox Cities.  14-16” triumph, mid-late season (New for 2008).
Located in the Entrance Garden.

Tulipa 'Pieter de Leur'
A tiny white base supports this shimmering blood red flower with pointed petals; terrific in a Patriotic Garden with Muscari armeniacum and N. 'Thalia'; 10"-15"; early-mid spring (New for 2008).

Tulipa 'New Design'
Lovely pink tulip with pale, creamy yellow base and ivory suffused throughout exterior; inside darker pink; special white, tinged pink edges to the leaves; 14"-16"; mid spring (New for 2008).

    
   

Tulipa ‘Madonna’ 
Green brush marks give a look of a 'viridiflora' type tulip but with the shape and substance of a parrot-type , this flower has the best of both types; a winner! 16"-20"; mid-late spring (New for 2008).

Narcissus 'Smiling Twin' 
A cross between N. 'Palmares' x N. jonquilla; nice fragrance from its 'Dad'; form from its 'Mom'; 12"-16"; mid spring (New for 2008).

Narcissus 'Stint'
A floriferous show flower with 2-3 luminous, soft yellow, pendulous flowers per stem; a great garden perennial especially with early and midseason tulips; 12"-14"; midseason (New for 2008).

    Narcissus 'Chiva'
Vigorous, most uniformly flowered selection of the species Narcissus rupicola; perfect for the rock garden or pots; sweetly fragrant; zones 4-8; 3"-5"; mid spring (New for 2008).

    Tulipa 'Fringed Elegance'
A great perennial tulip with Darwin Hybrid genes; primrose yellow with an occasional red fleck or edge; try it with T. 'Sweetheart' and yellow pansies; 20"-22"; mid spring.

Tulipa ‘West Point’
A sunny yellow lily-type tulip that grows to 18” tall; late spring (New for 2008). 

Tulipa 'Maytime'
A lovely, Heirloom, reddish violet tulip with narrow white edges and a small yellow base; 1942; 18"-20"; late spring (New for 2008).
Located in the Veteran's Memorial Garden.

    
    Tulipa 'Gabriella'
Lovely rose pink with lighter rose on the edges of the petals; nice for the pastel garden and in combination with darker colors; 14"-18"; mid spring (New for 2008).

    Tulipa 'Garant' 
A spectacular color-coordinated tulip with its bright golden/canary yellow flowers atop fern green leaves with a bold golden edge, creating its own color echo; midseason; 16"-18" (New for 2008).

Tulipa ‘Blushing Lady’
One of the tallest, a lily-shaped virtual giant; buff orange and yellow with a blushing rose flame; a real knockout! 30"-36"; late spring (New for 2008).

Tulipa ‘Marilyn’
Like luscious raspberry swirl ice cream, this Rembrandt-type, white, pointy petaled tulip sports reddish purple flames and streaks; performed so well for us in 2007, I decided to do it again; 18"-20"; late spring.
