Gardens of the Fox Cities is an outdoor public garden best visited mid- to late-April until mid-October. Please check our "Bloom Watch" at www.gardensfoxcities.org to see a sample of what's in bloom any particular week during the growing season.

There is generally no charge for groups visiting Gardens of the Fox Cities); fees vary for special events and educational programs. It is recommended that all groups contact the Gardens in advance to notify our staff of the date and approximate time of your visit. With advance notice, one of our staff members will plan to be available to welcome your group and share a brief history and overview of the Gardens.

Guided tours by the Gardens' staff and volunteer docents are available for groups of eight (8) or more people Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Tours with a question and answer period last approximately one (1) hour. It is recommended that guided tours be scheduled a minimum of 45 days in advance. The charge for guided tours is $2 per person with a minimum charge of $25 (group leader and motorcoach driver are complimentary). Fees may be paid by cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.

Special presentations on a variety gardening topics are available by request (60 days in advance) for an additional fee and are subject to facility and staff availability. Please contact the Gardens for more details.

The Gardens' beautiful Scheig Learning and Visitors' Center has restroom facilities, a small gift shop, and a beverage vending machine.

Gardens of the Fox Cities does not have a café or restaurant on site. Our Scheig Learning Center Great Room can be rented for meetings, luncheons, and other events. Depending upon the size of your group and our schedule, it may be possible to make advance arrangements to rent our facilities and have a lunch/box lunch catered. Passengers may be unloaded near the entrance to the Scheig Learning Center. Ample parking is available for buses in the Gardens’ parking lot.
