Scheig Learning Center

A key feature at the Gardens is the Henry and Mary Scheig Learning Center which opened its doors to the public during the summer of 1996. Charles Montooth, a protégé of Frank Lloyd Wright and senior architect with Taliesin Architects of Spring Green, Wisconsin, designed the building. This unique building boasts soaring timbers and skylights indicative of Wright's influence. The main level features a Great Room complete with a waterfall feature while the upper level of the Center has a modest conference room for preparation for your event. Both levels of the building are handicapped accessible.

Fragrance Garden The brick terrace extending from the south side of the Scheig to the Fragrance and Wildflower Gardens provides a lovely garden venue for wedding ceremonies. In case of inclement weather, the Scheig is included as an alternative site for Fragrance Garden events.(photo by P & J Photography)

Native Rose Garden

Selle Garden of Roses was designed in the theme of an English Rose Garden and features hybrid tea roses, climbing roses, shrub roses, floribunda rose and grandiflora roses. Ballerina sculpture by Dallas Anderson.
